Chapter Twenty Six


“Miss Mathews?”

“Doctor Masterson” she reached out and shook the hand being offered to her. “Thank you for seeing me today..”

“Dave said you wanted to transfer to us.”

"Well yes" she bit her lip nervously "I'm here on an exchange trip from England so it's just temporarily whilst I'm here in New York.”

“Ok,” he glanced at the form in his hand, “Ah you're registered over at Chelsea university I see, that shouldn't be a problem getting your notes then, they're usually pretty quick about sending them on, unlike some places.”

Callan watched as he picked up the phone and rang through to reception.

“Emma could you arrange for Miss Matthews notes to be transferred from Chelsea uni to here please,” quickly he gave her the details she needed before replacing the receiver and glancing at his watch, “Who knows they might even be here before you leave.”

"Ok today we'll just do a few standard tests first, blood pressure, weight etc is that ok"

"Yes "

"Good I'll go through the notes whilst Nurse Bates goes through the checks with you, hey it's nothing to worry about" he smiled noticing her expression, “Just standard stuff."

"Ok"Callan managed

"Callan could you roll your sleeve up for me" the nurse asked as Callan sat on the examination couch against the far wall of the room

"of course" Looking around the room as the nurse took her blood pressure her gaze fell upon Dr Mastersons face as he read through her forms and then glanced up at her with a surprised look before going back to his reading.

"Right Miss Matthews" the nurse smiled "I've finished you can roll your sleeve back down now and then if you want to hop on the scales."

"Oh the worst part" Callan smiled warmly at her. Getting down from the couch she slipped her shoes off stood on the scales and peered down at the readout.

"That's fine, if anything a little under, you're not trying to lose any weight are you?" the Nurse asked her smiling

"No "

"Good you're underweight for your height to be honest, so no trying to lose any okay."

"Ok"

"Good do you want to go back and take a seat?"

"Yes."

"So you're from England then?" Dr Masterson asked looking up from her notes as she took a seat at his desk.”Whereabouts?”

"Surrey."

"And you're at Chelsea how are you finding it here?"

"I love it. There's so much I still want to see here though, I'm sure I'm going to run out of time."

"Yes there is a lot to take in, I've lived here for 10 years now and I've probably had the chance to see one fifth of it.” he gave her a broad smile “Callan I just need to listen to your heart and then we can go through your history."


"That all seems fine" he smiled putting his stethoscope back on the desk.

"When did you last see your own GP?"

"I was in England last week, so I saw him then for a repeat prescription."

"Oh right," he glanced at his notes, "The painkillers was it?"

"Yes,"

"And you're not on any other medication"

"No nothing, just the painkillers and then I only take them if my arm is really bad."

"That was caused by the accident you've put here, am I right?"

“Yes”

"Okay and you have no other effects from the accident" he glanced down "Oh apart from possibly being unable to conceive."

"Yes, everything is pretty much back to normal, just my arm from time to time but it only lasts a couple of days before it eases enough for me to use it again."

"Good well if that becomes a problem we can always change your medication, but I'd like to make an appointment for you to have it scanned and make sure nothings changed with it"

OK”

"Ok that's prety much it for now is there anything else you want to discuss with me?"

"Yes" Callan blushed, "Well I do need to sort out some form of contraception."

"Ok what are you using at the moment?"

"Nothing, I know my specialist thinks I'll have trouble conceiving, but I don't want to fall pregnant or anything, I still ovulate sometimes and get periods, so I don't want to risk anything, knowing my luck I'd probably get pregnant or something and we don't need that happening, I don't know if I want children yet and Dave definately doesn't want anymore children.


"Dave?" he looked at her surprised "But I assumed you were Jacks girlfriend."

"Oh" she looked at him confused,...”But I thought that Dave had told you that."

"He did but when you walked in and when I read your details I presumed I'd misheard him and he'd actually said Jack." he looked at her “You are a lot younger than him”

"I know there's quite an age difference between us, but no" she gave a small smile "I'm Dave's girlfriend not Jacks."



A couple of minutes later Call was lying on the couch covered with just a light blanket naked from the waist down, she couldn't help but give a small giggle to herself knowing that if Dave had been in here with her he'd have been going crazy at not being able to touch her.

"Okay Callan?" The Doctor asked pulling back the white curtain that ran around the couch revealing him and the nurse standing there."

"Yes I'm fine."

"Right if you just relax I'll examine you then."

Callan took a deep breath and tried to relax as the nurse took hold of her hand gasping slightly as Dr Masterson inserted a finger inside her.

"Sorry did that hurt you?"

"No, I'm just a little tender that's all"

"Mmm yes I can see that." he soothed "Have you been having any discomfort when you urinate Callan?"

"No why?"

"Sometimes when you've had a lot of vigorous sex like yov've had you can get a touch of cystitis, so if you do make sure you come back and see me."

"I will."

"Ok, what protection are you and David using at the moment?"

"None" she looked up at him and blushed "Silly I know, but it kind of just happened ."

"I'm sure you don't need a lecture from me about safe sex Callan but you know you should, especially with a new partner.”

"I know I should have but like I said it kind of happened without either of us expecting it, if we'd been in a relationship before I would have sorted something out beforehand."

"What about previous partners?"

"None Dave's my first and I know David hasn't been with anyone since he split with Jennifer."

"I see” he gave her a smile and gently pulled his fingers back from inside of her, before pulling his gloves off as he crossed over to the sink and began washing his hands.

“Okay I'm not going to recommend an IUD because of your history and after examining you there's no way I'd be able to insert it at the moment anyway, so we'll try the pill and see how you get on with that."

"But I thought, you needed to start that on the first day of your period and I don't know when I'll get my next one."

"Usually yes Callan, but what I'll suggest is that I'll fit you with a cap to use until the pill starts working so if you use it for a couple of weeks in the meantime."

"Ok"

"Good, you said you've being having unprotected sex, how long has it been since you first did?"

"About 36 hours or so."

"Good I'll prescribe you the morning after pill too. that should cover you. When was your last period Callan?"

"I'm not to be honest a few months back now." she reached down to her bag and pulled out her organiser flicking through the pages "oh yes January this year they are rather erratic,"

"Ok that's fine, so six months then. ok" he passed a form to the nurse "If you could get Miss Matthews one of these." he smiled at her "Then I just need you to nip into the bathroom and have a go at fitting it yourself so I can check that you can fit it properly"

"Ok"

"Hey don't look so worried, I'll talk you through it first."






“What did he say?” Dave smiled as she came out if the examination room is everything okay?”

“It's all fine I just need to go to the bathroom.”

“Baby you don't feel sick again do you?”

“No nothing like that, I just need to try something out.” she said trying to hide the small package in her hands from his sharp vision. “I'll be a couple of minutes that's all.”

"I'll come with you.”

David you can't come in here right now" she muttered as he followed her into the bathroom.

"Why not I want to see what the doctor gave you."

"I've got these pills and until those are in my system I've got to use this." She held her hand out to reveal the cap the Doctor had suggested they use, now shoo "I've got to try putting it in now so the Doctor can check I can use it properly"

Dave grinned and leant against the door. "Oh no this sounds far too interesting to miss"

"Dave just go."

"No I want to watch, you never know when I might need to use something like that and need to know what to do with it."

"Well unless you're planning a sex change you won't have to."

"Well do begin when you're ready"

Blushing and muttering to herself she turned her back on Dave and went through the instructions the Doctor had given her in her mind, spraying the foam as she'd been shown she inserted the cap inside her as she tried to breath calmly. Happy it was in place and smoothing her skirt down she turned to face Dave and smiled.

"I think that's right."

"Mmm I think we should try it out now" Dave whispered standing behind her and slipping his arms around her waist and kissing the back of her neck.

"David no."

"Oh come on now "

“David we can't do it in here.”

“Of course we can, nobody will know.”

"David I can't go back in there after having had sex with you, he'll think I'm a total slut, I mean what will he think about me having sex in his bathroom"

"He won't besides" Dave growled his fingers unzipping her dress already and pushing it down off her body "I never buy anything with out trying it out first, so let's give this thing a little road test shall we?"

“Dave I said no” she pushed the long fingers which we already working their way in her knickers away from her body, knowing she was going to give in to him

“Oh come on just a little test, you wouldn't buy a car without driving it would you?”

“Dave.”

“What baby?” his fingers slipped lower and began to stroke slowly across her wet entrance. “Mmm well for someone who doesn't want it you are awfully wet aren't you.

Callan let out a low groan as he slipped two of his fingers deep inside her and began moving them slowly in and out of her. As he pushed her over to the far wall of the room.

“Sure you don't want me to stop.” he murmured against her neck as he picked up speed and pushed himself against her so she could feel how hard he was.

“No don't you dare” she groaned “The risk of them being caught only making her sexual tension higher,

Knowing that they only had a precious couple of minutes Dave used his fingers to bring her almost to orgasm before slipping them out of her and plunging hard inside her hot wet walls loving the way they clung around him. Groaning he thrusted two or three times deep inside her before moving his fingers to her clit and kneading her swollen nub between his fingers, he carried on moving inside of her his fingers working her until he felt her body stiffen and her muscles contract tightly around him.

“Oh god Dave....” she began and Dave knowing she was about to scream quickly slipped his fingers already wet from her juices into her mouth where she sucked on them deeply her screams changing to barely audible moans as her body shook from her orgasm. He thrusted deep inside of her and shot his juices hard inside of her his hot breath on her neck as his body shuddered.

“Baby you'd better get dressed” he moaned as he slid out of her, quickly buttoning his jeans he leant down and kissed her on the lips before heading towards the door and checking the hall was empty before he slipped out shutting it softly behind him.
