Chapter 9

IX.
Martin puts down his headphones and switches off the keyboard. It’s already dawning outside and the studio is deserted. The last sound technicien left shortly after midnight and even Andy was not in the swing of things to stay longer than one. Well, when Mart has a melody cruising in his head he’s loosing contact with the real world and tonight was such a time.
Martin Lee Gore – you are just avoiding some ugly nightmares.
He scratches his chin and lets his tired eyes wander over the nervously scribbled lines of notes and text in his ‚memory book’ – more a collection of wildy cluttered pieces of paper in a shabby looking folder – full of dog ears. Reaching for his mug he realizes that the coffee in it must be lousy meanwhile, so he takes it to the little bistro kitchen, stuffing it into the dishwasher. ‚Dishwasher’ seems to bet he magic word as he hears a clicking noise and the next moment Dave stands in the hallway, closing the door and putting away his keycard.
„Still here, Curly? I started to be worried, you know.“ He walks nearer and then lets his hand brush down his cheek. Then he suddenly drags him into a tight embrace, resting his head against his shoulder and starts sobbing. Martin swallows and just holds his friend, waiting for him to get at least a bit of his composure back.
„Jennifer?“, he finally dares to ask in a low, smooth voice.
David still trembles against his body and he sees the slight nod of his head. Mart sighs and then pushes Dave slightly to follow him to one of the big couches. Sitting down, him still in his arms, he smoothes down his hair and gently wipes away a few tears that made their way down the neck. David moves up his his head slightly and finally faces Mart. Oh, man! And I thought I was feeling low recently!
The pain is carving deep lines into the handsome face, dark shadows under the usually sparkling eyes that now are swollen and red, the irises cloudy and drab.
„What happened?“
„She told me she’s seeing someone. Just like this – on the phone!“
„She’s got a lover?!“
„Apparently – for the last six months, she said. But why now? I’ve been faithful to her all the years now!“
„Uhm, what about yesterday?“
„That was just...ah, come on! She’s having an affair – straight under my very eyes!“
„And we both have not?“
Martin kisses David onto his salty, wet lips and then locks his view with him again.
„Isn’t it closer to the truth that you feel ticked down that you’re no longer her number one? You put her through a lot during your marriage – and now you yelp cause it’s kinda payback time? She’s got the same rights – and desire does not ask for the proper timing.“
„But, Mart...!“ „Dave, listen. It’s tough – especially now that you thought you’re settled – happy family and stuff. You have only the choice to wait, if it might be over after a while or you make life yourself and your family hell and add another chapter of drama to your biography – and it will be a costly and ugly one, my dear friend – you just have to remember me.“
He starts to whistle „Precious“ and takes Dave’s hands firmly into his – watching the horror in his face.
„Oh, god! Martin, tell me what shall I do?!“
„Jenny is not Suzy – talk with her in a relaxed and neutral mood. If your family still is the most important thing for you – which I definitely believe it is and should be – you tell her you love her against all odds and will wait till she comes back to you. As hard as it sounds – it’s her decision now and you shouldn’t give her any amunition to light a bush fire.“
A sad expression lays on Mart’s face now.
„We have to be careful, David. I don’t want to loose you, too.“
Dave lowers his lids and you can see the burden weighing on his shoulders literally.
„Make love to me now, Curly. Please!“
His voice is hoarse and desperate. Despite his well defined shape he appears fragile this very moment, like a litte bird in the rain, with wet, ruffled feathers. It lets Mart feel a deep pinch in his heart and he simply can’t help it and closes his lips around Dave’s quivering mouth.
IX. - part two
Very softly he traces along the prominent lines of his face – inhaling all the desperation kinda. Yet there’s an animalistic tension lying beneath those dark, sad eyes – calling him – telling him not to be smooth and gentle. Mart closes his lids for a short moment, breathing deeply in and out. Then he grabs Dave by his right arm and pulls him up with him from the couch. Not in a hurry he starts to undress the dark haired man opposite him, not allowing him to do the same for him. David’s breath is going faster with the minute – watching Martin pulling down his jeans.
„Come over to the grand piano.“
The blonde curly man gently pushes Dave into the said direction. Detecting a tube of hand cream lying on a pile of papers and cables he smiles wickedly. This will have to do.
„Lean against it and spread your legs, Dave – yes, be a nice boy and bend slightly over.“
The tone he says it makes David cringe and judging his developing erection it’s just what turns him on. Mart now smacks his open palm onto the well shaped bottom in front of him.
„Oouch!“
„You shut up! All I want to hear is your moans and yells for more! So stop whimpering like a little girl!“
To lay more impact into his demand he moves very close now – pressing his front against Dave’s backside – letting him feel his own raging hardness. Then he pushes David’s arms further down on the closed lid of the piano they face from the left side and he looks like an eagle spreading his wings now. The more as his muscles are rippling under the beautiful, huge tattoo. The face is squeezed against the cold, black polished wood.
Clicking open the hand cream Mart swiftly applies some of the contents – letting his fingers teasingly slide along the crack that divides the divine glutes in front of him. After treating himself he simply throws the tube onto the floor and grabs Dave’s shoulders, digging his fingernails into the soft flesh.
The next David senses is a rough entry from behind. Mart shows now mercy this time – he simply rams his steel hard cock inside full length.
„Curlyyyyyyyyy!“
His sweatty chest is gliding over the slippery surface – the grand piano creaking under the strain of two bodies meating again and again in kinda fury. Heavy, accelerated panting – angry grunts and lustful moans. The studio for sure better be soundproof!
With a hoarse, raw yell David climaxes under Mart’s raving movements. Seconds later the blonde man joins him with no less excitement in his voice – his left hand still around Dave’s now slowly relaxing member.
